Laconia Ale Works is Sparta and Alleghany County’s first brewery.

We are locally owned and operated on the north end of downtown Main Street. Our taproom features a large open interior space with an even larger patio with a fire pit. With our modest seven barrel brew house we focus on a wide variety of beer styles. We offer everything from light lagers, hoppy pales, and dark porters; we’re sure to have a pint for you to enjoy. In addition to craft beer, we also offer wine, cider, ginger beer and select craft cocktails along with snacks; outside food is always allowed. Corn hole and board games are always available to play; check our page often for our music, food pop up schedule & updates.
